Wrap ETH on Lido

Step 1: Head over to stake.lido.fi/wrap

In this tutorial, we will be directly wrapping ETH to wstETH using the Lido wrap page. Alternatively, you can also stake ETH for stETH on the stake page and then wrap stETH for wstETH, but this requires an extra step.

Step 2: Connect Wallet

Select "Connect Wallet" and add a supported wallet to continue.

Step 3: Select the amount of ETH to wrap

Your ETH will be wrapped directly to wstETH.

wstETH (wrapped stETH) is a non-rebasing version of stETH, wstETH's price denominated in stETH changes instead. The wstETH balance can only be changed upon transfers, minting, and burning. At any given time, anyone holding wstETH can convert any amount of it to stETH at a fixed rate, and vice versa. Normally, the rate gets updated once a day, when stETH undergoes a rebase.

Select "Wrap" to continue.

Step 4: Sign and Confirm Transaction

Once you are ready to continue, sign and confirm the transaction.

You will be prompted in your screen once the transaction is complete.
